I finally finished a World Race picture and video compilation project I started during my quarantine when first getting back from the Race. This “mini movie” captures from the smallest of things that brought me joy to the mountain top moments that took my breath away. I had a hard time sifting through pictures of each month and choosing which ones to put in and which ones to leave out. Each one holds so many memories. The music I chose for each month is also significant. Usually they were songs I would listen to during my morning quiet times or songs I would listen to on repeat while I was running (and no I don’t know why I started listening to Dolly Parton while running along the Mekong River in Laos). I hear those particular songs to this day and I go back to the exact places I would listen to them on the Race.

I know a lot of these pictures hold no special meaning to you without me there to explain them further and tell the full story. I hope the captions help a little. My heart is for you to watch it in the hopes of letting you in on what the Lord did in my life on the field for eight months. Let you see the things I saw, the foods I ate, the people I loved, the roads I traveled, and all the adventures, laughs and smiles in between. I hope it gives a better picture of each country and the ministry I did there as well as the many hours of travel I endured by plane, bus, boat, sleeper bus, and tuk-tuk.
