So excited to announce through The Run B4 The Race fundraiser a total of $7,125 was raised! Remember when I said my goal was $5,000 and I was a little scared about that…well, God just completely blew it out of the water. Thank you to everyone who so generously gave! Thank you to KimRay for their generously donation. Thank you to all of those who lifted me up with prayers before and during my half marathon. Praying for good weather and a good running day. My ultimate goal was to finish, but my time goal that I wanted to meet was under 2 and a half hours. I finished in 2 hours, 18 minutes. This whole experience has been new for me, but I’ve enjoyed training, pushing myself and doing something that I never thought I would do. It has been great physical preparation for the hike that I will have to complete during training camp in June before I launch and it has taught me so much about endurance and finishing what you started and enjoying the ride…or in this case the run.
I have $4,604 left to raise in support before I am fully funded. I’m excited to see how God continues to provide in these next few months. Please pray for me as I continue gathering gear in preparation and getting to know my squad. I can’t wait for the journey that the Lord has planned for us to bring the Gospel to the nations.
