The goodness of God. I think I could title every post that. I spent the last three days in Mexico. Seeing some of the people that I lived and worked with in Mexico last year was so sweet and refreshing. I received financial support from missionaries there who themselves have to raise support for their ministry. How amazing is the family of God that brothers and sisters give sacrificially to support one another in each other’s missions. It opened my eyes to be looking for ways that I can be supporting others in their ministry whether by giving time, finances, or prayers. On top of that I recently found out I had received a very generous anonymous donation for my Race. Seriously. God is so good! Why do I listen to satan’s lies that God doesn’t love me that much, that God doesn’t care about my World Race, that God isn’t going to provide the financial support that I need, that God isn’t good? These three blessings back-to-back have once again called me to repent of my lack of faith and trust, and to fall back into a spirit of thanksgiving and praise to my good God for all that He is doing and all that He holds for the future. May I learn from this experience and not so easily believe satan’s lies the next time he tries to come and deceive me and cause me to doubt my good God.
I’m excited who God is going to continue to use to be a part of my World Race with me in the coming months before I launch. I am 38% funded and would love to have you be a part of growing His Kingdom with me through the special ministry the Lord is going to allow me and my fellow racers to be a part of.
God is so good!
“O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.” -Psalm 34:3
*Pictures below are from the conference we had in Mexico Monday and Tuesday. Continue praying for the school there as they develop their new system of leadership and that they would be obedient to the Lord’s leading. These people hold a special place in my heart and God is doing amazing things in and through them.
